Bringing Back Family Values, One Movie at a Time

Until 1968, Movies were produced using guidelines outlined in The Production Code, which contained this basic principle: “No picture shall be produced that will lower the moral standards of those who view it…” As a result of the code, great shows were produced that relied on genuine creativity and audience imagination.

At Family Films, Inc. we are recapturing a bit of history by offering access to films that were made by the code standards as well as contemporaries that were edited to match those standards as closely as possible.

We want you and your family to have a good and safe movie experience. PG, PG-13, and Television used to offer some pretty good alternatives, but are no longer reliable because of relaxed guidelines that we all have witnessed. In addition to using our own research, we are relying on valuable resources such as The Dove Foundation to find movies that help us fulfill our mission.
